Originally from New Jersey, Dr. Kim began his academic journey at the Rutgers- Ernest Mario School of Pharmacy, where he earned his Doctor of Pharmacy degree. He graduated summa cum laude at Rutgers, as he developed a deep commitment to patient care and clinical excellence, which guided his practice as a pharmacist prior to pursuing a medical degree. He earned his medical degree at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School on a full academic scholarship, under the George Smith Endowed Scholarship Trust.
